Five steps from creating your character to building a life in New York.

Create you & pick a phone
Design your blocky character, then choose a phone. Your phone holds everything: map, bank, jobs, chat, music and settings.

Finish immigration & fly
Visit the desks in the Immigration hall, pass the medical and biometric checks, buy a ticket and board your flight at the airport (Flight JA 001).

Live in the city
Keep hunger and energy up. Eat at the Bukka, cook a meal at home, sleep, take a shower, pray at the Ecclesia sanctuary. Open Maps to walk, take a taxi or drive.

- ›Grab a snack at the stadium concession stand

Earn & build
Take jobs in the Hustle app — seven roles from courier to clinic assistant. Save up for land, a house, a business or a car from the J-Motors app. Houses and businesses earn income every day.

- ›List your house for rent to become a landlord — or rent from another player

Meet people
See online players, chat in J-Chat, wave and dance together, share your private player code, vote for mayor and rent a billboard with your own photo.

- ›Ride along as a passenger in a friend's car
- ›Try the penalty shootout at the stadium to win tokens
The outlaw path (risky)
You can steal tokens, hijack cars or start fights — but every crime raises your wanted level and the police will come. Get caught and you'll ride in the back of a police car to the City Jail, where you serve your time or pay bail in tokens.

Is JAAPA free?
Yes. JAAPA is free to play, right in your browser — no download needed.
How many tokens do I start with?
Every new player starts with 100,000 tokens.
Is the money real?
No. Tokens are fictional and have no real-world value. JAAPA is not a real-money service.
Is this immigration advice?
No. Migration in JAAPA is fictional and is not immigration advice.
Which cities can I play?
New York is live. Canada, the United Kingdom and Dubai are coming soon.
How do I open my phone?
Tap the head button in the middle of the joystick.
What happens if I commit a crime?
Crimes like car theft raise your wanted level and the police will come. If you're caught, you're driven to the City Jail — serve your time or pay bail in tokens.
Can I rent a home instead of buying?
Yes. Players can list their houses for weekly rent, and you can rent a home from another player.
Can I have a pet?
Yes — adopt a dog, cat, bunny or parrot to keep you company.
